Afternoon Shift Team Leader, Monday to Friday 2PM-10.30PM

The Role

Our Salisbury site in Adelaide’s northern suburbs manufactures a range of more than 78 milk and milk-based products. This site is a combined production and distribution facility producing well-known brands such as Pura, Dairy Farmers, Farmers Union, and Feel Good; and distributes across predominantly SA and NT, but also NSW and VIC.

We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Team Leader – Manufacturing to join our dynamic team and play a key role in delivering high-quality products while fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

The incumbent's standard working hours will be the Monday – Friday afternoon shift (2 pm start—approximately 10:30pm finish), with the flexibility to provide on-call support during some weekends. This role is offered on a 12-month fixed term contract.

Responsibilities

Supervising & directing team members to achieve results and deliver KPI

Monitor established performance indicators, including variance reports, production reports, quality reports, and injury reports

Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations to minimize industrial injuries and meet regulatory requirements.

Be a part of continuous improvement process and project management.

Managing work schedules in order to achieve planned commitments

About you

Proven experience in manufacturing environment

Good understanding of quality system including HACCP and GMP

Problem solving skills – process-based decision making and conflict solution

Leadership skill – ability to coach and influence team members

Computer literacy – experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, etc
