What You Need to Excel:
• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience in heavy-duty maintenance or an entry-level Technician role.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to perform safety inspections and prepare necessary documentation.
• Basic computer skills are essential.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
• Qualified in brake inspections and vehicle inspections according to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations.
• Must possess basic hand tools necessary for heavy-duty trailer maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Prior mechanical experience, such as in automotive or skilled trades.
• Diesel technician school diploma.
• Previous or current ASE certifications are a plus.
• Basic welding skills (Oxy/Acetylene, MIG, and ARC).

Your Daily Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance and adjustments on trailer equipment following manufacturer, DOT, and company schedules.
• Inspect and perform work both in and out of trailer components.
• Repair or rebuild various equipment systems.
• Comply with all regulations from DOT, EPA, OSHA, and others.
• Stay proficient with the latest equipment and technologies.
• Move trailers on-site and operate a hostler in all weather conditions.
• Document job times and parts usage to track activities accurately.
• Utilize specialized tools and vehicles for repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Communicate effectively with shop management and operations teams.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs regularly, and occasionally more than 75 lbs.
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods on various surfaces, including uneven or slippery areas.
• Comfortable with bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, twisting, squatting, and kneeling as needed.
