Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Facility Manager to join our team at Harbour Quays Aged Care. The successful candidate will have a strong background in aged care operations and leadership, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
About the Role
As Facility Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the facility, including overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to residents. You will work closely with the Care Manager and clinical staff to develop and implement strategies to improve resident care and satisfaction, and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to residents
Manage the day-to-day operations of the facility, including staff supervision and coordination
Work collaboratively with the Care Manager and clinical staff to develop and implement strategies to improve resident care and satisfaction
Address any issues or concerns that may arise, and take appropriate action to resolve them
Monitor and manage the facility's financial performance, and make recommendations to improve it
Lead recruitment and retention initiatives to build and maintain a strong, dedicated team
Requirements
AHPRA registration is highly desirable but not essential
Proven experience in managing operations within an aged care or healthcare setting
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and manage a team
A commitment to quality care and improving the resident experience
Excellent financial management skills and an understanding of aged care regulations
A proactive approach to problem-solving, continuous improvement, and team development
