Key Accountabilities
Responsibilities will include but will not be restricted to:
• Coach and mentor cross-functional teams to adopt and implement Agile methodologies and practices such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and SAFe.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Retrospectives, and Product Demos.
• Identify and remove obstacles and impediments to team performance and delivery and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and other stakeholders to align teams and drive delivery of business value.
• Develop and deliver training programs to promote Agile practices and principles across the organization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and improve Agile frameworks and processes.
• Monitor and measure team performance and delivery metrics and use data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
Technical Requirements (what)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 16-18 years of experience in IT delivery, with a minimum of 5-8 years of experience as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master.
• Professional Scrum Master (PSM I, PSM II) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or Certified Agile Coach (CAC) certification is a plus.
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and SAFe, and experience with scaling Agile to large organizations.
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to adopt Agile practices and principles.
• Demonstrable training, coaching and change management experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address impediments to team performance and delivery.
• Experience with software development and delivery processes, and familiarity with tools such as Jira.
