Role Description
As an Agile Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for driving the delivery of product by using agile methodology and practises across the tribe. You will be responsible for supporting the teams in their ways of working and helping them deliver better products for our internal and external customers. You will be a trusted sounding board for our product engineering function, and - alongside your delivery responsibilities – will play a key role in helping us to attract and retain the best Engineering and Product talent.
Principal Accountabilities
• Accountable for ongoing product feature delivery across tribe.
• Work together with Engineering Leads and Product Owners to improve the agile practises followed within the squad – e.g. Product Owners defining and building the Roadmap on a detailed basis for next sprints and on a mid term basis to stakeholder awareness, and then translating into user stories that are ready for development with Front and Back End Engineers.
• Tracking and reporting of metrics such as lead time, cycle time, deployment frequency, progress against OKRs.
• Recommending and applying agile practices when needed.
• Carry out regular Team Retrospectives & Health Checks.
Required Skills
• Excellent knowledge and experience using agile principles including Kanban and Scrum.
• A strong track record of improving delivery in a squad & tribe organisation structure.
• Hands-on experience with Atlassian products.
• Have previous experience of working in a fast-paced digitally native organisation /start-up.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and DevOps for Distributed Systems.
• An adaptable and pragmatic approach and a curious mind, continually asking ‘Why?’
• The ability to influence engineers, ideally coming from an engineering background
