The Technology Delivery Lead role is accountable for delivery of Technology Outcomes. This role manages change initiation, design and delivery and accountable for successful delivery of Capability and Features all within a Value Stream construct. The role will contribute towards an overall delivery of a multi-million dollar portfolio of change, with customer experience at the heart of everything delivered.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Project Manager:
In this role, you will:
• Co-ordinating effective delivery of business outcomes (Capabilities / features) across the fd Agile Teams.
• Collaboratively managing the Scrum Masters, so that they effectively delivery to the Value Stream Outcomes
• Escalation and decision making on cross Value Stream dependencies
• Capacity Planning across PODs within your Agile Teams, increasing velocity and establishing of predictability across the PODS
• Tracking progress of deliveries within your Agile Teams with effective RAID management
• Ensuring your Agile Teams have a clear set of priorities to take in to PI and remain focused on those outcomes, delivering against commitments made in PI
• Establish effective ceremonies across your Agile teams aligned to the SAFe Agile Ways of Working
• Leading cross Value Stream prioritisation and decision-making with senior stakeholders
• Supporting all members of your Agile Teams in maturing the Agile Practices and creating a culture where people feel valued
• Agile Maturity across your Agile Teams through the adoption of agile best process & practices; adherence to Definition of Done and adopting a DevOps way of working
• Entity and Functional Management of wider teams as appropriate for the region aligned to
• Management of Vendors & Service Providers where required
• Performance and Talent Management and development of individuals
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Extensive experience within the Finance & Technology sector within Retail Banking
• Proven experience of delivery of customer centric outcomes across mobile, digital and staff channels
• Experience of Agile Methodology (SAFe) and managing team in an agile context
• Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrating the ability to influence as well as developing strong and productive relationships with key senior management and colleagues in a complex matrix environment.
• Proven experience of leading complex and high value technology deliveries with multiple teams across multiple Value Streams / Agile Teams
• Highly organised with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written/presentational)
• An ability to navigate a complex organisational construct
• A desire to solve issues and think outside standard solutions
• Be able to respond quickly to changing demands and priorities and be comfortable working independently
• People Management Development experience
