Our Agi Drivers are recognised as the friendly, reliable face of our business, delivering quality concrete to customers across the region and keeping major local projects moving in the communities we live in.
This is not just point‑to‑point driving and no two days are the same. You’ll be part of a supportive local team backed by a leading national company.
What’s the Job Like?
Location: You’ll be based out of the Kincumber Concrete Plant on the NSW Central Coast.
Hours: This is a full-time position and most rostered days will start between 5-7am.
Pay: We pay a base hourly rate of $32.67 on a weekly pay cycle. Overtime kicks in at time and a half after 8 hours, and double time and meal allowance after 10 hours in a day.
Customer Interaction: Driving an Agi is like being a Customer Service Agent on wheels. You’ll meet lots of different personalities every day, so being comfortable with new people is a must.
Training: All new hires go through a 10-day training program with our experienced driver trainers before hitting the road solo.
About You:
Licence: You must have a minimum of an HR licence (essential) with previous HR driving experience (preferred).
White Card: You will have a current valid Construction White Card or be willing to obtain one before you start.
People Skills: You enjoy meeting people and having a chat when you’re onsite.
Variety: You prefer variety in your work. No two days are the same when you’re driving one of our Agi trucks.
Pride in Your Ride: You take pride in the appearance of your truck. Keeping it clean and presentable is important—you are a mobile billboard for our company.
Medical Check: Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and ******* test (random testing is also conducted on all Hymix and Heidelberg sites).
Safety: Some of our trucks have driver weight limits on their seats and seatbelts. For safety reasons, you may need to be under a specified weight for these trucks.
What we offer:
Base hourly rate of $32.67 per hour + penalties, allowances & super, paid weekly.
Company Uniforms and PPE are supplied.
Monthly RDO accrual, with options to use them your way.
Minimum 10-day Agi Driver training program and buddy support.
