Job Designation: Assistant General Manager- Affordable Home Loans
Reporting to: GM- Retail Banking
Job location: Thane (Mumbai)
Job Responsibilities -
• Setting up and managing the Affordable Home Loans business line for the Bank to build a sizeable and healthy portfolio of priority sector loans under housing finance
• Owning the P&L for Affordable Home Loan products, through product suite curation, pricing, promotion, sourcing and volume generation
• Build the sourcing team for Affordable Home Loans- set the goals and budgets for the Affordable Home Loans team in terms of business volume, portfolio size, yield, fees and portfolio quality
• Driving the performance of the direct sourcing team (primary responsibility) to achieve the goals & budgets and also guiding the branches in matter of Affordable Home Loans
• Owning all Governance, Audit and Regulatory requirement for Affordable Home Loans
• Having regular interactions with the builders, industry participants, associations of builders and peers (Banks & Financial Institutions) to identify potential and opportunities to increase business
• Established APF inventory by identifying suitable residential projects of reputed builders and getting the same approved as per internal process of the Bank
• Interact with internal stake-holders, viz. Credit, Product, Operations, PSM, IT, Audit to device robust process and operational flow
• Introduce various subsidy and guarantee based programs, in addition to regular asset backed/pledge finance programs
• Established partnership with industry players and FinTechs for sourcing of Affordable Home Loans proposals
• Develop and run marketing programs for Affordable Home Loans in coordination with marketing team
• Driving contest and reward programs for building volumes. Evaluating performance and tweak, re-evaluate future programs
• Tracking performance through dashboards and reports at various levels. Review performance of the team, plan and take actions based on the same and present it to the senior management and Board/Board of Management for further directions
• Shall represent and handle all audit, operations and RBI related issues at various committees/ forums for Affordable Home Loans
Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate would be minimum 12 years of post-qualification experience in Financial Services with at least 3 years in a similar work profile, i.e. managing a team which sources Affordable Home Loans:
• Must have good understanding of Products, Policies and Process for Affordable Home Loans including regulatory guidelines
• Must of good understanding of Affordable Home Loans customer segments and key markets in Mumbai/ Pune/Bangalore. Should be aware of the latest trends in Affordable Home Loans in the market including the innovations brought in by other Banks, NBFCs & FinTechs
• Should have led a team of Sales Managers, should be self-driven with leadership qualities and man-management skills
• Good analytical, communication and presentation skills
• Minimum graduate, post-graduate in Business/Management preferred
