• Job Description:
- Effective handling of appeal claims.
- Dealing with Courts, Advocates and Investigators for effective handling of claims.
- Checking whether appropriate reserve is being maintained in claims.
- IR report observations.
- Proper monitoring of files, collecting from the registration team,checking of docs, vetting of WS, guiding advocates for compromise.
- Getting the date updated online on the Advocate module.
- Co-ordinate with inter-dept in order to facilitate effective handling of claims and share the court precedents for them to deal with the claims
- Supervising and monitoring of the Appeal cases in HC and SC, regular interaction with the Panel Lawyers
- Performing toward the achieving of the target set by the Management.
- Adherence to internal processes and external regulations.
- Processing of Stay Orders and Awards / Compromise in HC
- Ensuring the providing of appropriate legal advice on a diverse range of substantive and procedural questions of law arising in High Court/Apex court cases, to firmly secure the interest of SGI.
- Monitoring TAT in preferring and compliance of stay and Awards.
- Ensure Effective implementation of processes set by the department including working on online portal CAS/ reserve amendment/ working on premia/ online updation of cases.
- Monitoring the trends of different HC
