Relevant work experience in yrs.- 10+ years
Background Industry preference- A candidate from dairy Industry preferred.
Roles and Responsibilities of GM/ AGM
• Creating / identifying new development opportunities and converting them into business
• Periodically analyzing product-wise, customer-wise / segment-wise sales and ensuring sales target of company is achieved
• Planning and strategizing for increasing revenues and customer base in the various regions across the country in terms of increased per customer / product revenues and decreased per customer / product expenses
• Budget preparation of sales and expenses target
• Overseeing both project sales, weighing automation products as well as Retail sales
• Ensure smooth coordination/ completion of projects in coordination with Service team and support sales team in meeting any challenges faced from customer
• Identifying and meeting Federation, Milk Unions and Corporate Customers, as applicable, in the various regions and supporting / facilitating the Sales Team Members in introducing our products to them
• Facilitating the introduction of our products at the policy level of apex federations / government including exploring possibilities of channelizing funded projects to our business advantage
• Monitoring performance on all activities of the various subordinates (Sales, Product and Key Account Managers) across various regions of the country by ensuring that their targets are planned, communicated and are being met and / exceeded during the period.
• Identifying the needs for online as well as off-line marketing activities in the respective location and ensuring the implementation of the same
• Sharing market intelligence/ competition information with the management
• Recruitment, selection, mentoring and performance appraisals of Sales, Product and Key Account Managers across various regions
• Encourage cross selling of products to ensure that region/ product sales target is met
• Recovery of outstanding payment dues
