Position: AGM Steel Making (EAF) Vacancies: 1 Location: Corp. Office, Hospet/ Hosahalli (360kms from Bangalore) Qualification: Graduation/ Post Graduation in metallurgical Engineering Experience: 10-12 years Industry Preference: R&D establishments who are into steel making, particularly by EAF route using DRI pellets. Candidate Preference:
Candidates involved in conceptualization to commissioning of steel making plants using EAF routes using DRI pellets.
Candidates with good understanding of feasibility & economics of steel making processes shall be preferred.
Good industry exposure shall be helpful. Eligibility: Candidates with Graduation/ Post Graduation in metallurgical Engineering having about 10-12 years experience in reputed industry/ R&D establishments having hand in experience in steel making, particularly by EAF route of steel making using DRI pellets. Candidates who are involved in conceptualization to commissioning of such plants shall be preferred. Job Description: Initially to carry out desktop research on steel making processes with particular reference to EAF & other novel techniques, including study of shifting trends in steel making processes their economics etc. Later, to explore possibilities of forming joint venture / acquire / technology transfer for setting up steel manufacturing facility of appropriate capacity in India.
