We are looking for a highly experienced mechanic/fabricator to work alongside other workshop staff in the wide array of tasks we have to offer, on and off site. The varied nature of our business means the role will not be the same every day!
We are looking for a pro-active individual who likes a challenge.
Role and responsibilities:
• Responsible for the repairs, servicing and maintenance of plant and machinery involved in our agricultural, construction and ground care sectors
• Responsible for the service and maintenance of on-site biomass boilers
• Responsible for the service and maintenance of on-site continuous grain drying and handling system
• Fabrication of parts/components as necessary
• Responsible for carrying out the associated paperwork involved in maintaining safe working fleet
The best candidates will:
• Have at least 5 years prior agricultural mechanic experience
• Be a problem solver
• Have fabrication experience
• Good communication skills
• Good automotive electrical experience
