Job Description
The Role
Drover Ag is the most recognised and recommended agricultural recruitment service in Australia. From smaller, family-owned and operated farms to some of Australia's largest pastoral companies, we provide our clients with a full support recruitment service and information for building successful ag teams specific to the agricultural industry, including executive management, corporate and family agribusiness, and general agricultural and farming roles.
As our client base continues to grow rapidly, we are excited to welcome a new full-time team member to our dedicated group. This remote position provides the flexibility to work from home while requiring availability Monday to Friday during business hours. Your responsibilities will include managing job vacancies, writing advertisements, screening and interviewing candidates, conducting reference checks, and creating candidate profiles. Drawing on your agricultural background and experience, you will assist employers and job seekers daily in this fast-paced role. Strong communication, organisation, and record-keeping skills are essential, as is a high level of motivation to work independently from home.
Training and support from an experienced management team will ensure you are comfortable with the achievable KPIs attached to the position. While previous recruitment experience is a plus, it is not essential - what’s crucial is your ability to assess and identify the skills, qualities, and attributes in others. Additionally, intermediate computer skills, attention to detail, and the capability to multitask will be vital to your success and growth in this position.
The Offer
In addition to the benefits of working from home, you will be offered a competitive salary reflective of your expertise and the value you bring to the role. Provided that you have access to a dependable and high-quality phone and internet connection, you have the flexibility to work in your preferred work environment from any location across Australia.
The Ideal Candidate
We encourage you to apply for this role if you have a strong agricultural background and have a passion for people and building quality teams along with the following attributes:
Strong administrative, communication and organisational skills
Self-motivated and deadline-driven
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Technology literacy
Excellent written communication and descriptive writing skills
Knowledge and experience within the Australian Agricultural Industry
