Proven irrigation system planning and design experience

Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, agricultural engineering, or a similar engineering degree
Experience: Minimum 5 years relevant professional experience
Licenses/Certifications: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is required

Mentoring, training, and supervision of junior engineers
Preparation of engineering reports, drawings, and specifications related to irrigation planning and design and other related water conveyance projects
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams, clients or other consultants
Undertake field work or field investigations where required
Assist in proposal preparation where required
Attend in house and formal training sessions to ensure continuing professional development

Stantec is seeking an Agricultural Engineer to design and manage projects in our successful Water business in the Southwest. The Chandler Stantec office has a 40-year history working on irrigation projects in Arizona and has delivered many of the most significant agricultural irrigation and municipal conveyance projects in the region.
