Job Overview
As an AI Video Editor & Creator, you will be responsible for designing, producing, and editing professional-grade videos using advanced AI tools. You will transform prewritten scripts, text prompts, and image inputs into polished videos, incorporating sophisticated video editing techniques, scene descriptions, and automation to produce potentially hundreds of videos daily. This role requires a blend of creative storytelling, technical expertise, and proficiency in AI-driven video production workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Video Creation from Prompts: Generate high-quality videos from text-to-video and image-to-video prompts using AI platforms like Runway, Kaiber, or similar tools.
Scene Design & Storytelling: Write detailed scene descriptions, including settings, character actions, and visual aesthetics, to guide AI video generation.
Video Editing Mastery: Edit AI-generated footage to refine pacing, transitions, color grading, lighting, and camera angles, ensuring a cinematic quality.
Audio Integration: Incorporate sound design, including background music, sound effects, voiceovers, and audio balancing, using AI tools or software like Adobe Audition.
AI Automation: Utilize AI automation workflows to streamline video production, enabling the creation of hundreds of videos daily from prewritten scripts.
Creative Direction: Define and implement visual styles, moods, and tones, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and project objectives.
Technical Optimization: Ensure videos are optimized for various platforms (e.g., YouTube, TikTok, Instagram) with appropriate formats, resolutions, and aspect ratios.
Collaboration: Work closely with scriptwriters, marketing teams, and creative directors to align video content with strategic goals.
Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest AI video tools, trends, and techniques to maintain a competitive edge in video production.
Required Skills & Qualifications
AI Video Tools Expertise: Proficiency in AI video generation platforms (e.g., Runway, Kaiber, Pika.art, or Luma AI) for text-to-video and image-to-video workflows.
Video Editing Software: Advanced skills in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Scene & Prompt Writing: Strong ability to craft detailed, vivid scene descriptions and prompts to guide AI video generation.
Cinematography Knowledge: Deep understanding of lighting, camera angles, shot composition, and visual storytelling techniques.
Sound Design: Experience with audio editing and sound design, including sourcing or creating sound effects, music, and voiceovers.
AI Automation Tools: Familiarity with automation tools or scripting (e.g., Python, APIs) to streamline repetitive video production tasks.
Creative Vision: Exceptional storytelling and creative skills to produce engaging, audience-focused content.
Time Management: Ability to manage high-volume video production pipelines while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
