We’re looking for an AI Workflow Automation Tech Lead having 7+ years of experience and a strong React + Node.js background who has grown into building data pipelines, automation workflows, and AI-powered systems. You will architect and build complex automation workflows (for example, using n8n + Node.js), integrate AI models, and guide a team through technical decisions and problem-solving. Someone who started in full-stack development but now wants to lead AI automation projects end-to-end can be a good git for this role.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
• Work with stakeholders to define technical requirements and workflow architectures.
• Lead the design and development of data extraction, transformation, and automation pipelines.
• Build custom logic, APIs, and custom n8n nodes using Node.js/TypeScript.
• Build lightweight internal tools/dashboards using React.
• Integrate AI/LLM services into workflows for classification, parsing, validation, etc.
• Troubleshoot workflow issues and guide developers with hands-on technical expertise.
• Deploy, monitor, and scale workflows on cloud platforms.
Required Skills
• 7+ years in software engineering/architecture, with strong data pipeline & integration experience.
• Experience with US data-heavy or proptech projects is good to have.
• Advanced Node.js/TypeScript for APIs, custom logic, and custom n8n nodes.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript for creating custom logic, custom n8n nodes, and serverless functions.
• Strong transition into automation, data workflows, and AI integrations.
• React experience for internal dashboards/tools.
• Hands-on experience with n8n and workflow automation will be an added plus.
• Strong knowledge of REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, microservices, and scraping/parsing.
• Experience with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and integrating LLMs into automation workflows.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
