Job title: Marketing and Event Coordinator

The ideal candidate will have events administration experience, expert-level Microsoft Office skills, and a desire to wear many hats and learn new skills. If you have a few years of event planning and marketing experience, this position could be for you!

What You'll Bring:
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in education, communications, and events administration
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of digital and virtual event platforms, webinar technology, and social media
• Basic graphic design skills and content writing experience
• Experience with applications such as Canva, Constant Contact, Zoom, etc.
• An ability to work independently and work closely with a CEO
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
What You'll Do:
• Educate members on updates to laws, regulations, and policies that are applicable to the industry
• Manage, administer, and develop distance learning programs for members
• Transition the current program to an online program
• Plan and execute logistics, communications, resource allocations, and tasks necessary to ensure the success of the associations' education and events portfolio
• Work closely with the President/CEO, team members, and volunteers to research, design, and develop events, activities, and educational programs
• Recruit speakers, trainers, and subject matter experts to develop and deliver content
• Organize in-person and virtual meetings and events
• Maintain website
• Work on-site at a variety of associations, meetings, and events
• Other duties as assigned
