YOUR ROLE
Join our Air & Ocean division as an experienced Air Export Coordinator based at Banksmeadow NSW, responsible for managing outbound airfreight shipments from booking through to final invoicing. You’ll be central to delivering time-critical logistics solutions, ensuring GDP, Dangerous Goods, and aviation security compliance, while also maximising consolidation efficiency and customer satisfaction.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Specifically, you will:
Negotiate spot rates and secure carrier space, updating system rate modules
Build consolidations and manage HAWB/MAWB documentation
Lodge export declarations and aviation security paperwork in line with RACA standards
Prepare Dangerous Goods documentation and escalate non-compliance
Coordinate temperature-sensitive and pharmaceutical shipments under GDP protocols
Verify charges, manage accruals and issue customer invoices
Provide proactive status updates and service recovery communications
Support audits and maintain accurate digital records for compliance.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate brings at least three years’ experience in airfreight export operations and a strong understanding of IATA DGR and export compliance. You will also have:
Completion of Year 12 (vocational qualification in logistics desirable)
IATA Dangerous Goods certification, and ASIC or willingness to obtain same
Strong CargoWise capability, including use of Rate Manager and Freight Tracker
Advanced knowledge of Incoterms, RACA, and chain-of-custody compliance
Prior experience with high-value, AOG, perishables, or pharma cargo
Strong stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills.
In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
