. Your Role
We are currently recruiting for an Air Logistics Customs Care Specialist to join our “One Customs” Setup in the UK to support all administrative activities within the Air Logistics Customs department to enable the servicing of internal or external customs.
The Air Logistics Customs Care Specialist will be working Monday to Friday Days and can be based out of our Heathrow South Cargo Centre sites.
This role will be an initial 18 month Fixed Term Contract Your Responsibilities
• Preparation and accurate presentation of Import/Export
Customs Documentation across a variety of customers
• Handling complex Full, CFSP, SFD and SDI and requirements
for customers
• Ensure Customs compliance with Customs declarations to maintain AEO status
• Maintain up to date knowledge on relevant Customs regulations and procedures
• Preparation and presentation of Import/Export Customs Documentation within dedicated software, including:-
• A wide variety of import/Export entries, warehousing, excise goods, CAP goods, licensable products, transit documents and CFSP
• Advise internal colleagues and external customers with Customs related matters
• Complete accurate Import/Export
declarations to HM Revenue and Customs
Your Skills and Experiences
• Previous
experience working in a similar role in the customs field or similar
environment.
• Knowledge
of Customs rules and regulations is advantageous.
• Good
knowledge of CFSP and Intrastat
• Knowledge
of the Descartes & Cargowise Customs software / or similar is
desirable
• Excellent
communication skills both verbally and written.
• Excellent
Customer service skills
• Flexible
and able to work accurately under pressure in a very busy environment.
• You
should be a team player with the self-drive to be pro-active and add value
in a dynamic and changing organisation.
• Excellent
attention to detail and excellent record keeping skills
