Job Description
This position will perform reset of work packages for 74K Aerostats. They will assist in conducting maintenance, inspections, and repair of fiber optics, electrical and mechanical systems.
Duties
• Performs tasks such as replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing simple electronic equipment.
• Conducts testing and troubleshooting using standard instruments such as digital multi-meters and other test equipment.
• Read wire schematics, use electronic test equipment, prepare aircraft for flight inspection, troubleshoot as required.
• Perform maintenance, authorized modifications of all components.
• Repair, replace, and perform operational and preventive checks on all system and components.
• Applies technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions.
• Maintain, track and properly store all hand tools and specialty tools.
• Maintain and update all work packages and maintenance logs.
• Inventory and properly store all consumable and hazardous items.
