Purpose of Position:
To maintain the aircraft components in an airworthy condition and carry out maintenance tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out repairs and overhaul to shop components in accordance with company procedure and all regulatory requirements.
• Carry out certify repairs to aircraft components.
• Maintain the work area in a neat and tidy condition.
• Becoming familiar with Transport Canada Company manuals and documents.
• Follow company procedures in the completion of your duties.
• Perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures while giving primary consideration to personal safety, and the safety of co-workers and customers.
• Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• The successful candidate will be a graduate of an approved Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance course.
• Experience in carrying out repairs on DASH-8 and/or CRJ aircraft components will be a definite asset.
• Ability to obtain an Airside pass is required.
