Airport Job Recruitment – 2026 | Amritsar – Cabin Crew – Air India pioneered the country’s aviation sector and its history is synonymous with the history of civil aviation in India. The cabin crew is responsible for the safety, welfare, and comfort of air travel passengers. They possess the training to handle emergency and security situations, including administering first aid to injured or ill passengers. The cabin Crew also helps passengers board the plane. They demonstrate safety procedures to passengers and check that all emergency equipment works properly.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities as a Cabin Crew
• Check safety equipment for availability and functionality
• Conducting Inflight sales and service
• Ensuring that aircraft cabins and toilets are clean and replenished during flights
• Making announcements and responding to guest queries during the flight
• Ensure orderly disembarkation of guests after landing
• Attending mandatory pre-flight briefings
• Conduct safety demonstration for guests prior to take-off
• Ensuring compliance with all safety procedures throughout the flight
• Pre-boarding tasks such as checks on the availability of required food and beverage as well as inflight amenity items
• Boarding of guests, welcoming and directing them to seats, aiding with the stowage of carry-on luggage
• Preparation of reports on flight incidents, including safety, service, and security incidents
Cabin Crew Job Requirements
• Indian National holds a current Indian passport, PAN card, and Aadhar card.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills and aptitude to handle difficult situations.
• Fluency in multiple languages is an advantage.
• Weight: In proportion to height
• Between the age of 18-22 for freshers and 32 for experienced crew
• Minimum Height required: Female candidates – 157 cms / Male Candidates – 172 cms
• Must be fluent in English and possess excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• BMI Range: Female candidates – 18 to 22 / Male candidates – 18 to 25
• Well-groomed with no visible tattoos in uniform
• Fluent in English and Hindi
• Vision 6/6
