What does a typical day look like?
As a Customer Delivery Driver, you're not just a driver - you're the face of dnata catering on the tarmac, delivering seamless service to airline crews and ensuring every departure is smooth and timely. From safely loading and unloading airline equipment to coordinating with cabin crew, your role is pivotal in our mission for excellence.
In a nutshell, your main responsibilities are:
Safe airside driving and basic vehicle checks, including re-fuelling.
Load and unload trucks on to aircraft with airline equipment such as carts & ovens.
Guide and position the trucks in line with company, airport, and airline policies.
Coordinate with airline cabin crew for aircraft servicing and delivery hand over.
Administrative documentation, reporting and general cleaning duties as required.
What do you need to be successful in securing this role?
Minimum of a MR truck licence (HR driver’s license preferred).
Ability to perform frequent manual handling tasks.
Ability to work shift work across a 7-day roster.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Required to obtain a clear National Police Check as you will be working in the Aviation Services industry.
Availability to work 38 hours/week, as this role is a full-time permanent position.
