Job Summary

As an Airside Operations Controller you will act as the central command point for real-time coordination of passenger movements and airside bus operations. This role ensures seamless alignment between aircraft readiness, boarding activities, and fleet dispatch to maintain safe, efficient, and on-time airport operations.

Your activities
Coordinate passenger boarding and disembarkation in alignment with aircraft turnaround timelines.
Plan, allocate, and dispatch buses based on flight schedules, stand locations, and passenger demand.
Serve as the central control point for all airside bus movements.
Monitor and maintain safe separation between vehicles, aircraft, and airside infrastructure.
Proactively manage real-time disruptions, including delays, equipment failures, and congestion.
Communicate continuously with airline, ramp, and driver teams to ensure operational alignment.
Enforce airside safety regulations and take immediate corrective action when required.
Monitor flight schedules and adjust transport plans dynamically to reflect operational changes.
Track fleet availability, utilisation, and serviceability to optimise resource deployment.
Coordinate contingency transport solutions during peak periods or irregular operations.
Maintain accurate operational logs and incident reports in real time.
Support investigations into safety incidents, delays, or service failures.
Provide direction and prioritisation to drivers during high-pressure or time-critical situations.
Liaise with maintenance teams to report vehicle defects and ensure timely resolution.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, turnaround times, and passenger flow.

Your profile
Australian Citizen/Resident with unlimited work rights.
Possession of a valid Australian driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Strong situational awareness.
Stakeholder communication and coordination.
Operational planning and logistics control.
Safety compliance and risk management
Maintains composure under pressure and presents themselves with confidence.
