About the Role:
As a Packing and Manufacturing Associate at Ajanta Pharma, you will play a vital role in the production and packaging of pharmaceutical products. You will be responsible for operating machinery, monitoring production processes, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities:
• Operate packing and manufacturing equipment, such as blister packing machines, cartonators, and labeling machines, according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
• Monitor production processes, including filling, sealing, labeling, and packaging, to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with quality standards.
• Perform visual inspections of products and packaging materials to detect defects, deviations, or irregularities, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Assist in setting up production lines, adjusting machine settings, and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory requirements to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance in the manufacturing area.
• Complete production documentation, batch records, and log sheets accurately and timely, ensuring traceability and accountability of all production activities.
• Participate in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance skills, knowledge, and performance in packing and manufacturing processes.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), handling hazardous materials safely, and reporting any safety incidents or concerns to supervisors.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in packing and manufacturing roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Familiarity with operating packing and manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Basic understanding of GMP, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to follow instructions and SOPs.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods during shifts.
