Position Summary:
Guardian's Central Station is seeking an Alarm Dispatcher for the graveyard and swing shifts at our location in SODO Seattle. The role involves processing over-the-phone requests, dispatching for various alarm events, and accurately evaluating alarm signals.
Pay:
$21-$24 per hour
The following schedules are available:
Graveyard (Thursday to Monday, 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM)
Swing (1:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
Work Location:
In person at our SODO Seattle location (1743 1st Ave S, Seattle 98134)
The station is a 24/7, 365 day operation with on-site attendance required.
Core Duties:
Processing over-the-phone requests
Dispatching on Fire, Security, Medical, and Life/Safety alarm events
Comprehend and evaluate alarm signal events quickly and accurately
Review account signal traffic history accurately and quickly
Relay account/signal information in a complete and informationally dense manner

Computer Skills:
Intermediate or higher technical skills when using computers is required.
Work Environment:
This job is 99% sedentary and it uses fingers, hands, arms when working with mouse, keyboard, and monitors. Close vision and distance vision are necessary. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally will lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
