Full Time position (40 hours per week) in an established and well-resourced 40 licensed Kindergarten in the Manurewa area. The Kindergarten currently operates full-day sessions (8.00am -5.00pm).

We have a fantastic opportunity for a qualified beginner Teacher (new graduate) to join our team, within a mixed age setting of 2-5 year old Tamariki.

We are seeking a beginner teacher who is self-motivated, enthusiastic, who has a passion for working in multicultural communities and a commitment to professional development and on-going learning.

We are seeking a Teacher who is versatile and a great communicator, a teacher who can deliver quality teaching practices within a team environment while working with Tamariki in a mixed age setting. You will need to be willing and proactive around change and possess the ability to build exceptional relationships with Tamariki, Whanau, team and the wider community.

You will be welcomed into a passionate, fun team with strong connections to the community and as part of our team you will enjoy working closely with whānau and supporting active children from diverse backgrounds. We are looking for a teacher who is an effective communicator, who has a passion for building meaningful relationships with children and their families and who has a drive to provide learning opportunities that extend beyond the centre, out into the wider community.

Role requirements:

Hold a NZ ECE teacher qualification (level 7) and be provisionally registered as an ECE teacher in New Zealand

Ability to teach children in a positive, nurturing way

Must be passionate, caring, and committed to education and care

Above all, have fun while working alongside a fabulous team and group of children!

Applicants require a minimum qualification of a Diploma (Level 7) or Bachelor of Teaching ECE, current first aid certificate and current teacher registration practicing certificate.
