ALLEN Career Institute - Associate - Audit (Corporate Planning and Advisory)

Primary job responsibilities/accountabilities :
- Ability to obtain and present appropriate audit evidence, address the relevant audit objectives, and demonstrates its relevance to the rest of the audit.
- Document the results of the audit work in accordance with Standard Audit Methodology, and regulatory requirements, and using applicable IT systems and tools.
- Identify audit differences, and issues and escalate as appropriate.
- Demonstrate knowledge of prevailing accounting standards, and accounting disclosure requirements, and apply these to allocated work.
- Attend and apply all audit and accounting training within the set deadlines.
- Ability to coach staff effectively during fieldwork.
- Ability to conduct end-to-end auditing.
Requirements :
- Graduate degree in Accounting or related field.
- Qualified in any of the following international professional qualifications ; CA or MBA (Finance)
- Knowledge of best practice reporting and International Financial Reporting Standards.
- At least 2 years in auditing and accounting, preferably with a large professional services audit firm.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills (Work Experience in KPMG, Deloitte, PWC, EY, or Investment Banking Firm would be preferred)
