Full job description

The Opportunity:

Plena Healthcare is offering an exciting casual opportunity for an Allied Health Assistant to join our Melbourne Southeast team. In this role, you’ll work under the guidance of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to support the delivery of high-quality clinical care to clients in Residential Aged Care and community settings. Your role will involve both hands-on clinical support and administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver therapy services as per treatment plans developed by Allied Health Professionals

Facilitate exercise groups and support one-on-one therapy sessions

Assist residents to and from therapy areas and set up therapy spaces

Maintain and clean therapy equipment and areas

Support with administrative duties including referral collection and equipment orders

Communicate regularly with therapists regarding client progress and treatment adjustments

Engage in regular supervision, mentoring, and professional development activities

What You'll Need:

Cert IV in Allied Health Assistance

A completed or partially completed degree in health-related field

Driver's license and access to a car
