Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and proactive individual to join our dynamic team at the Pain Management Unit (PMU) of Central Adelaide Local Health Network. As an Allied Health Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in organizing and delivering pain management programs under the guidance of experienced professionals. Your responsibilities will include supporting patients and staff during group interventions and education sessions, administering ePPOC questionnaires, and maintaining essential resources for treatment and referrals.
To succeed in this rewarding role, you will bring:
- A Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent qualification
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively and follow therapist direction
- Excellent communication abilities, demonstrating empathy and respect when interacting with patients and staff
- Computing skills, including data entry, word processing, and management of electronic patient records
- Experience in patient care or working with individuals with chronic health conditions or disabilities
