Based in Williamstown Melbourne, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling the forward order book to ensure maximum customer experience and productivity on execution.
Your day will involve:
Liaise with plants around production requirements during shifts to meet supply needs to customers job sites
Coordinate trucks and loads to ensure timely supply to job sites
Work with customers confirming details for supply to site for current and upcoming days
Ensure fleet managed day to day to meet OH&S and Fatigue Management regulations and expectations
Work with Project Managers, Supervisors and Crew Foremen to make effective transport plans to ensure shift requirements are met across the business
Manage truck rostering for weekend and after hours works.
Engage external logistics providers where required, to meet extra demand.
What are we looking for?
2+ years' experience in fleet scheduling, tracking and planning
Financial and commercial acumen
Employee/Customer(inter/intra) relationship and negotiation skills
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with all people, and to influence people - strong stakeholder communication.
