• Pitch, develop, and execute story ideas that center marginalized voices within the queer community.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with editors, designers, and contributors to create compelling multimedia content.
• Stay up-to-date with global LGBTQIA+ discourse, ensuring cultural relevance in all pieces.
• Translate complex issues into engaging content using strong research and storytelling skills.
Requirements
• 2+ years of writing experience (journalism, editorial, agency, or freelance).
• Familiarity with our past work and the South Asian queer media landscape.
• Lived experience as an LGBTQIA+ person is strongly preferred.
