Skilled in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint for effective communication and data management
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities with a demonstrated capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also being a collaborative team player
Responsibilities
The Alumni Relations Coordinator plays a key role in fostering strong, lasting connections between the school and its alumni community
This individual is responsible for managing alumni communication and engagement strategies across various platforms while supporting the overall goals of the Advancement team
Facilitate regular communication with alumni via email, social media, and print materials, ensuring a consistent and engaging presence
Oversee and manage the Alumni Associate Board, guiding them in the development and execution of their Strategic Plan
Assist the Advancement team in recognizing and stewarding alumni donors to maintain and grow their support
Expand the school’s connected and engaged alumni base through relationship-building and targeted outreach efforts
Cultivate awareness of philanthropy and giving among Upper School students and recent graduates, fostering a lifelong culture of support
Partner with Alumni Board officers to manage and support alumni volunteers in various capacities
Plan, promote, and execute annual alumni events, collaborating with relevant departments to ensure smooth coordination
Maintain and regularly update the alumni presence on the school’s website and social media platforms to keep alumni informed and connected
Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications office to gather and share alumni stories, news, and class updates for publications such as The Beacon and alumni e-newsletters
Send personalized alumni birthday e-cards, and coordinate gifts for significant milestones and special events, ensuring alumni feel valued and recognized
