JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive FG Dispatch executive to manage and oversee the dispatch operations in our Giga factory facility. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate dispatch of finished goods, coordinating with production, logistics, and suppliers, and maintaining inventory records for smooth supply chain operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Dispatch Planning & Execution:
Plan and execute daily dispatch schedules as per customer requirements and production schedules for India, UK & other countries.
Ensure the accurate loading of finished goods as per FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) principles.
Hazardous store management, ensure proper usage of PPEs by all team members (including contractual staff)
Ready to work in Shifts.
Coordination & Communication:
Coordinate with the production, warehouse, and transport teams to ensure timely dispatches.
Communicate with transporters and logistics partners for vehicle availability and timely deliveries.
Liaise with customers and suppliers for dispatch documentation and delivery confirmations.
Ensure that physical verification is carried out of the inventory in every financial year and resolve for inaccuracies if any & reporting to the concerned/Account Deptt.
Conduct hazard identification & risk assessment of their operations along with the safety team and define & implement control measures
Ensure safety improvements on shop floor with Hierarchy of control level up approach
Maintain daily FG stock as per Min/Max level and on time escalations to PPC and production
Documentation & Compliance:
Prepare and maintain dispatch-related documents, including invoices, e-way bills, packing lists, and challans.
Ensure compliance with GST and other regulatory requirements for interstate and intrastate shipments.
Maintain accurate records of dispatched materials and update ERP/SAP systems accordingly
Coordination with finance for all internal/ external audits & closure.
Providing documents as per requirements of auditors.
Inventory & Warehouse Management:
Monitor stock levels to avoid dispatch delays due to material shortages.
Conduct periodic stock audits to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies
Daily Meeting with team members and update meeting boards, updated all visuals and boards, review KPI with team in meeting
Logistics & Transportation Management:
Track vehicle movement and ensure on-time deliveries.
Optimize transport costs by negotiating with logistics service providers, if required or to be supported to CFT
Maintain and Improve Turnaround Time in dispatch
Delivery and Distribution of material to Destination at right time at right Location and in Right quantity and in right packaging.
Arrangement fort container/truck loading and coordination for transporter for container/truck movement
Process Improvement & Reporting:
Identify and implement process improvements in dispatch operations.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly dispatch reports and share with the management
Review and Reconciliation for Vendor Rejection
Review and Escalation for inventory ageing-Non- Moving /Dead Stock
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of logistics, dispatch, and supply chain operations in an automotive / DG good environment.
Hands-on experience with ERP/SAP systems for inventory and dispatch management.
Understanding of GST, e-way bills, and transport regulations.
Good coordination and communication skills for dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to dispatch planning.
Knowledge of SAP SD Module along with MS Office and WMS operating knowledge
Export Documentation & Procedures.
Logistic Management & dealing with freight forwarders & CHAs.
Warehouse Management, Audit Coordination, 5s.
Role Specific Qualifications/Certifications & Experience
Experience : Experience working in an automotive manufacturing/logistics/Battery/DG handling setup.
Training/Knowledge : ERP Systems, SAP Ariba, Stores/dispatch Managment, Inventory Management, Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Just-in-Time (JIT) concepts is an added.
Qualification : B.Tech / B.E
