Amazon Warehouse Loader - Heavy Equipment Handling

Job Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading and unloading goods in our warehouse, ensuring that all materials are properly handled and stored. Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate heavy equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to load and unload products.
• Transport goods within the warehouse, ensuring products are stored in designated areas and ready for shipment.
• Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure operational safety and compliance with all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and maintain operational efficiency.
• Follow safety guidelines and standards for handling heavy equipment and warehouse operations.
• Perform inventory checks and assist with stock rotation as needed.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or warehouse issues promptly to management.
• Assist with general warehouse tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
• Required Skills and Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations or heavy equipment handling is preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet physical demands.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.
• Flexibility to work in rotating shifts and weekends, as needed.
• Experience:
• At least 6 months of experience working in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
• Prior experience in heavy equipment operation is a plus but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Experience with inventory management and product storage systems is advantageous.
• Working Hours:
• Full-time position.
• Standard shifts may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Flexibility is required based on the operational needs of the warehouse.
• Occasional overtime may be required to meet seasonal or operational demands.

• Knowledge of safety standards and protocols in a warehouse environment.
• Basic understanding of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor belts.
