Amazon Warehouse Loader - Heavy Equipment Handling

Job Summary:

Amazon is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Warehouse Loader specializing in heavy equipment handling. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading and unloading goods in our warehouse, ensuring that all materials are properly handled and stored. This is a physically demanding position requiring attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to operate heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• * Safely operate heavy equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to load and unload products.
• * Transport goods within the warehouse, ensuring products are stored in designated areas and ready for shipment.
• * Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure operational safety and compliance with all safety protocols.
• * Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and maintain operational efficiency.
• * Follow safety guidelines and standards for handling heavy equipment and warehouse operations.
• * Perform inventory checks and assist with stock rotation as needed.
• * Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or warehouse issues promptly to management.
• * Assist with general warehouse tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
• Required Skills and Qualifications:
• * High school diploma or equivalent.
• * Previous experience in warehouse operations or heavy equipment handling is preferred but not required.
• * Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar machinery.
• * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
• * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet physical demands.
• * Good communication and teamwork skills.
• * Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.
• * Flexibility to work in rotating shifts and weekends, as needed.
• Experience:
• * At least 6 months of experience working in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
• * Prior experience in heavy equipment operation is a plus but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
• * Experience with inventory management and product storage systems is advantageous.
• Working Hours:
• * Full-time position.
• * Standard shifts may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Flexibility is required based on the operational needs of the warehouse.
• * Occasional overtime may be required to meet seasonal or operational demands.

• * Knowledge of safety standards and protocols in a warehouse environment.
• * Basic understanding of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor belts.
