Structured Lending Specialist Role
We seek an experienced Structured Lending Specialist to enhance our structured lending services. This client-facing role involves margin lending, preliminary risk analysis, and exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring efficient and smooth lending processes.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct preliminary risk assessments of client portfolios and analyze collateral quality to ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline loan processing and documentation.
- Monitor market trends, collateral valuations, and margin calls, and communicate potential risks and required actions with clients.
- Provide tailored solutions to meet client needs while adhering to bank policies and regulatory requirements.
- Document all client interactions and maintain confidentiality and accuracy in communications.
- Assist in preparing loan proposals and credit summaries for internal use.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in structured lending, margin lending, or a related field within banking or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of margin lending processes, financial instruments, and collateral management.
- Experience conducting preliminary risk analysis and understanding loan-to-value (LTV) ratios.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused mindset.
- Proficient in financial systems and tools with accurate data management capabilities.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
