Role Responsibilities

Strategy
• Awareness and understanding of the Group's business strategy and model appropriate to the role.

Business
• Knowledge of Agent banking, Sub Custody operations and clearing will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Custody operations, Corporate Actions, Financial Market Operations.

Processes
• Business Analyst experience in Corporate Actions, Delivering of Asset servicing solutions participating from requirement gathering ,writing user stories, testing support, training to go-live activities).
• Ability to analyse the existing process and do process mapping and identify process improvements.
• Good understanding on Asian, Hong Kong, Middle East or African markets is added advantage.
• Good knowledge on International and Domestic Corporate actions (experience of 5 - 8 years).
• Have excellent techno functional skill and ability to liaise with development and end users.
• Sound knowledge on all Mandatory and Voluntary / proxy CA events.

Key Responsibilities
• Researching and reviewing up-to-date business processes and new IT advancements to make systems more modern.
• Analyzing and evaluating the current business processes a company has and identifying areas of improvement.
• Working closely with senior management, partners, clients and technician.
• Creating initiatives depending on the business's requirements and needs.
• Developing projects and monitoring project performance.
• Collaborating with users and stakeholders.
• Presenting ideas and findings in meetings.
• Training and coaching staff members.

• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank's Conduct Principles: [Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment].
• Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association.

Key Stakeholders
• Business partners across countries, Central operations, GBS SSO Management team and Larger SSO team.

Our Ideal Candidate

5 - 9 years of relevant work experience in
• Need to work closely with IT team to resolve the system issues, should be able to articulate properly the same to senior staff in the IT forum.
• Knowledge of allied products like Settlements, Fund services and reference data will be an added advantage.
• Worked in corporate action processing team and have experience in approving the transactions.
• Should have handled people in the previous organisation, able to give feedback to staff's.
• Knowledge of various types of corporate action and swift message formatting.
• Excellent oral / written communication skill / good system skills.
• Stakeholder management.
