Job Description
Purpose
• Work collaboratively with Country Finance, Treasury, Group Liquidity Regulatory reporting and BAU teams to understand requirements and articulate them within the Business and data requirements document
• Actively engage with stakeholders (business and technology partners) to deliver appropriate solutions as per planned timelines
• Support the project manager from conception through to post-implementation review, ensuring all necessary governance steps are followed correctly and completely
Strategy
• This role requires experience in process automations with Excel VBA (Macros) and Python. The ideal candidate should also possess strong business analysis skills, and experience in implementation of automation solutions and preferably have understanding of functional areas around Banking products, Financial Markets, Liquidity risk and reporting domain to satisfy delivery of business benefits.
Business
• Work collaboratively with Country Finance Treasury, and BAU teams to understand automation requirements and articulate the possible solutions
• Build, test and obtain the sign off for the EUCs and solutions built as per planned timelines
• Support the solutions manager from conception through to post-implementation review, ensuring all necessary governance steps are followed correctly and completely
• Follow the structured approach to programme delivery and provide regular risk/issue updates to the project Manager
• Update the necessary documentation for the automation solutions implemented
Business Methodology
• To ensure that the new solutions comply with internal procedures / external regulatory guidelines and controls. Ensure project deliverables are properly understood by business stakeholders, project team, and end-users
• Solution architecture
• To drive prioritization taking into consideration business benefits, delivery timelines, system performance etc.
• To centrally coordinate system interfaces/dependencies/change releases for the Treasury and Liquidity Reporting work streams and ensure alignment across all centres
Communication and Change Management
• Communication with the policy owners and producers of regulatory and internal risk metrics to understand their processes and to push the business perspective.
• Communication with desks to understand user needs and resolve issues

• Responsibilities relating to identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks to the Group, as well as an awareness and understanding of the main risks facing the Group and the role the individual plays in managing them. For example -The ability to interpret the Group's financial information, identify key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures
Governance
• Responsibilities relating to the direction, planning, structure, frameworks ( processes and policies) and oversight. For example, Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of the Group's arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls in the business and, if necessary, oversee changes in these areas; Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
Regulatory & Business Conduct

• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
• PRA, HKMA, MAS and other relevant regulators
• Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association (or equivalent)

Our Ideal Candidate
• 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Automations
• Excel VBA (or) Python expertise is must. Practical experience is key
• Understanding of SQL
• Ability to work with large and complex data sets
• Experience in analysing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
• Experience in banking and finance industry is preferred
• Experience with both waterfall & agile delivery methodologies
