About the role
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
• Certification: Good to have AWS Cloud certifications
• Relevant Experiences: Hands on experience in DevOps and Automation with 5 years experience
• Soft Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills. Good organisation and agile skills.
• Educational Background (if required): Bachelors or master’s engineering degree in computer science or a related field
• Desired Skills: Experience in creating CI/CD pipelines and automation development (Jenkins, Codefresh, Selenium, Cypress etc.)
What will your day look like
• Delivering applications and infrastructure across multiple non-production environments
• Providing support of applications to resolve issues
• Monitoring platform infrastructure performance and diagnosing application issues and performance
• Actively work with development and QA teams to diagnose application performance in production and during development and identify areas for improvement
• Take responsibility for a piece of work and see it through from specification into production (in collaboration with others)
• Work closely with other teams to improve knowledge sharing and platform understanding
• Document and provide feedback on application documentation and tickets

• Artifactory / Docker / Kubernetes / OpenShift 4
• Test Automation Frameworks –Selenium Webdriver,WebdriverIO,Cucumber,Cypress
• Solid SQL skills
• Understanding of IP networking: Switching / Routing / Firewalls
Highly-regarded Skills
• Python highly desirable
• Experience with REST API’s / JSON and contracts
• Kafka/DynamDB highly desirable
