Your Opportunity

Due to an internal promotion, we have a fantastic opportunity for an Analyst, FP&A – Development Finance to join our high‑performing team based in Sydney. This role supports the financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes across our development portfolio, working closely with our Senior Analysts and Senior Finance Manager to deliver accurate, insightful financial analysis.

This is an excellent role for someone with strong accounting foundations who is looking to step further into FP&A - ideal for those proud of their accounting background and seeking to build deeper commercial acumen within a property environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the preparation and consolidation of development project budgets, forecasts and performance reporting.
Coordinating and validating forecast inputs across specialist functions to ensure accuracy and alignment.
Assisting senior analysts across sub‑workstreams within planning, budgeting and forecasting cycles.
Conducting reconciliations, variance analysis and commentary to support decision‑making.
Supporting development of project‑level and portfolio‑level reporting using Anaplan and Excel‑based models.
Preparing well‑structured financial insights and PowerPoint presentations for senior stakeholders.
Building relationships across Commercial Finance, Financial Control and broader project teams.
Contributing to process improvements and supporting continuous enhancement of FP&A systems and workflows.
Your Point of Difference

To be successful, you will bring:

4–5 years’ combined chartered and commercial experience.
CA/CPA qualification (or near‑completion, 1–2 modules remaining).
Strong accounting fundamentals - ideally Management Accountant or Financial Accountant background.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and financial modelling skills.
Proficiency with financial tools and systems (Anaplan, Excel; BI experience advantageous).
High‑level communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders.
A proactive, self‑motivated attitude with strong attention to detail and commitment to deadlines.
