Introduction:
The role is part of the Group Finance Internal Reporting team, Performance Management function. The team provides insightful analysis to the senior management which enables them to understand and manage the overall Barclays group financials for current and future performance. The function is responsible for building and supporting the business' reporting needs as well as adhoc MIS requests for the entire Barclays group financials. This particular role focuses on partnering with London team to run monthly Outlook/forecasting process, External disclosures and Result announcement process, work in collboartion with the Impairment FTC, Strategy and CFO business partnering teams, Cost analytics & thereafter prepare various management decks for presentation to senior stakeholders, usually catering to Tier 1 management.
This role will assist in identifying risks and opportunities, and help provide analytical support for strategic decision making to senior stakeholders.This will require coordination with multiple teams, commentary write up, Update of various review decks using various boiler plates, Macro Economic Variables analysis into Key Metrics, Optimus data enrichment and detailed reporting and analysis focusing on P&L, BS. Key ratios and Capital Deductions. This role is also responsible for enhancing existing processes, reporting and controls whilst ensuring the flawless execution of BAU.
What will you be doing?
● Ownership of End to end Outlook financials at total Group level
● Supporting the Barclays Group Result announcement process: Partnering with London and Investor Relations in managing and reviewing the Financials, commentary, Results announcement Slides Speeches and Annual Report, ensuring a 100% accurate and seamless results announcement process.
