Testing
The Testing IT job evaluates equipment and processes to improve the safety, reliability, and maintainability of products and systems. While closely supervised, this job tests the performance of various systems, applications and databases and works under close supervision to support quality assurance and management staff processes.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
• Maintains test cases, scenarios and scripts to ensure the quality of information systems, applications and databases delivered.
• Schedules, organizes and participates in internal and external audits, and follows up with a timely response on corrective action.
• Analyzes and presents the results of testing sessions, and troubleshoots technical problems and issues.
• Compiles testing tools and processes for use in projects, and participates in the selection of testing approaches.
• Reviews the design and development of usability testing programs, cases, scenarios and processes to ensure that all functions are thoroughly tested.
• Communicates information on standards, procedures, requirements and quality initiatives.

ROLE
Analyst between 3 – 5 years willing to work from office in Mumbai or Pune
POSITION SUMMARY
Develops and evaluates equipment and processes to improve the safety, reliability, and maintainability of products and systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create E2E detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans, test cases and perform manual and automated regression execution
• Design, development and maintenance of automation frameworks and scripts using Selenium Java(BDD/Cucumber, TestNG, POM framework)
• Leverage test plans to incorporate automation tests as part of build process
• Automate API testing based on project needs(Rest Assured/HTTP Client)
• Provide Status Reports
• Understand Prod Incidents, RCA and Defect Prevention Strategies
• Test and Close Prod Issues
• Background in testing systems which are highly data/file/orchestration intensive
• Experience in Defect Life Cycle Management.
• All resources are expected to be Agile, Ability to work under Stress, Flexible and Passionate
TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Expertise in UI Automation using Selenium Webdriver and Java (with strong OOPS concepts)
• Experience in Protractor/Webdriver IO
• Experience in BDD/Cucumber/TestNG
• Experience in build tool Maven/Gradle and Jenkins
• Experience in versioning tool GIT/GITLAB
• Experience in POSTMAN and API Automation using REST Assured/HTTP Client
• Experience in Sprint Testing
• Knowledge in SQL queries
• Experience in Sauce labs, Gigafox would be an added advantage
• Experience in WebdriverIO, JavaScript/TypeScript would be an added advantage
• Experience in Agile Methodology – SAFe Agile and/or Kanban preferred
• Experience in US Retirements, Wealth Management, Capital markets preferred
• Knowledge of basic Java
• Understanding of CI/CD pipeline, Shift-left testing preferred
• Must have great passion for Automation Scripting
• Strong at data structure/ oops concept/ design patterns
• Trouble shooting automation script issues
• Creating framework and utilities for Automation Engineers
• Experience in AI/ML preferred
• Resolving issues related to Jenkins
• Resolving merge conflicts
• Must be aware of what is latest in automation in market
MANAGEMENT/RELATIONSHIP RESPONSIBILITY
• Perform the testing as per the scheduled Test Plans.
• Stick to testing schedule and ensure timely completion.
• Reacting immediately to impediments in progress and taking necessary steps
• Working with right teams to speed issues with respect to scope finalizations, getting clarity on defects or requirements, getting environment issues resolved etc.
BUSINESS OR INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
