Introduction:

Corporate Banking Operations is a global network comprising of over 3,500 colleagues that provide dedicated operations support to clients and coverage colleagues worldwide.
Corporate Customer Services teams interact with our Corporate clients through our network of 3 branches, email, white mail and phone
The team also provides support for Debit card hot listing and fraud reporting related to IMPS payments
o This role is based in the Nelamangala Branch of Barclays Bank. The is Branch Maker Role, which involves teller and cash function, demand drafts issuance, funds transfers, RTGS, NEFTs and clearing at Nelamangala Branch, handling cash and non cash functions of the branch, as specified in Branch Operations Process Note.

What will you be doing

Be accountable for handling of daily email inflows received via the Shared mail boxes.
Handling and resolution of client complaints in line with India complaint handling guidelines
Sending out of daily pre-defined reports to clients as per requirements within stipulated timelines
Ability to work in shifts in a 24x7 environment
Key specific accountabilities.
Manage the process to dispense and receive physical cash, cheques, drafts and other financial instruments over the counter to walk-in customers.
Ensure bulk cash deposits are properly counts and verified and accounted for.
Capture all transactions as maker on the bank s core banking system.
Assist customers to correctly complete transaction documentation such as deposit or withdrawal slips to ensure accuracy and completeness of these documents.
Attend Customer Service Level meetings
Ensure all customer calls are handled and resolved appropriately
Ensure all clearing and trade transactions carried out correctly.
To follow all operational policies and procedures and ensure compliance to all regulatory and internal guidelines

Strong communication and relationship building skills

Skills that will help you in the role:

Good communication skills Written / Verbal,
Sound knowledge of the Banking processes and banking applications,
Knowledge of MS- Excel, Outlook and Word
Graduate in any field, specific courses done in Customer Service added advantage
Atleast 6 months experience in a customer service role handling high workloads and tight deadlines and Branch Banking
