What is the opportunity?
The Manager, Liquidity Management will support the management of RBC’s Treasury Liquid Asset Portfolio (TLAP).
What you will do?
Produce quarterly sizing for Treasury Liquid Asset Portfolio (TLAP) and perform decomposition/analysis of changes in balance sheet impacting the TLAP requirement.
Produce analytics on TLAP composition, quality and long-term trends.
Monitor exposures to ensure adherence to approved TLAP limits and coordinate periodic monetization testing with the portfolio managers.
Liaise with local CT teams and front office to manage the currency positions at an Enterprise level and perform supporting analysis.
Manage ad hoc research requests for TLAP securities that may require limit exceptions.
Collaborate with front office and technology to effect best reporting of positions in the liquid asset portfolio.
Create new analytic capabilities and enhance existing ones to meet the evolving demands of liquidity management.
Manage the build out of documentation for processes related to TLAP.
What you need to succeed?
Must Have
Undergraduate degree in commerce/finance
2 years+ experience with financial and/or regulatory reporting in financial institutions
Strong understanding of bank balance sheets and products
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented, thorough and conscientious
Ability to work in fast paced environment under tight deadlines
Collaborative and consultative team player
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Nice to Have
CFA, CPA, Masters in finance
Knowledge of risk management tools and techniques
Programming skills in VBA Excel and SQL knowledge
