Job Description: Role & Job Description Your role as a Finance Analyst involves reporting, analysis, accounting, data validation and liaising with various stakeholders across the towers within the Global Finance function. Key Responsibilities Finance analyst position responsibilities will include any of the following: • Responsible for various day to day accounting processes, financial analysis, financial and management reporting • Accountable for application of financial principles ability to read and comprehend financial reports and conduct & conclude analysis • Responsible for data dictionaries/conformance to instructions and /or preparation of various regulatory reports, documentation, interpretation and communication of regulatory reporting requirements • Responsible for executing changes to finance systems and ensuring all financial accounting & reporting systems and applications are operating smoothly from a functional perspective • Ensuring adherence to financial data standards and quality of data • Support risk management, controls & compliance processes including risk performance monitoring & tracking, controls validation & reviews, SOX compliance, regulatory reports testing & attestation and reconciliation reviews • Supporting project work related to process improvement/automation, various other team initiatives What You Bring To Us • Ability to mobilize others, assume responsibility and displaying effective leadership with strong influencing & facilitation skills • Ability to learn and willingness to undergo on-the-job as well as more formal training for future career development • Committed to collaborate with senior leadership team and thereby build a trusted partnership • An encouraging team player who fosters positive relationships • A mind-set to constantly question and challenge the status quo and ability to provide alternative approaches • Effective communication skills while recognizing the importance of listening. • Commitment to high standards of ethical behavior and principled approach Foundational Skills • Education: MBA Finance with 0 -2 years of experience • Basic working knowledge of reporting, analysis, accounting and various finance functions • Ability to understand the financial statements • Fundamental understanding of risk management and internal controls • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities • Able to work in a fast paced environment • Proficient in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint • Ability to assimilate large amounts of information quickly and to understand complex methodologies and issues • Highly motivated, able to work independently, self-starter; and problem/solving/analytical Desired Skills • Knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards • Understanding of financial / banking products (derivatives, swaps, interest, bonds, credit, etc.) • Exposure to Oracle/SAP, SQL, Tableau, Sharepoint would be preferred Learnings • Opportunity to work closely with the senior leadership team across globe.
