We have a permanent opportunity for an Analyst Programmer to join Cards & Payments Domain in Technology.
Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
As an Analyst Programmer, you will be responsible for being agile and progressing the design, build and implementation of technology solutions to meet our business and customers’ needs. You will support and continually improve our systems, working with the business, technology and industry professionals to determine requirements and deliver what is needed.

What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?
The successful candidate will join a team in Cards and Payments domain and will be part of the team that:
Monitor inbox and incident queue, investigate customer queries, collaborate to troubleshoot and look for ways to continually improve.
Analyse, develop and optimise applications and systems that run on mainframe computers using COBOL, JCL and other programming languages.
Working with various cloud services (e.g compute, databases, networking) to build and deploy applications while ensuring application performance.
Provides Production Support including afterhours on-call for our systems to ensure they are continually available for our customers.
Support the Product Owner to recognise opportunities for stakeholders to leverage from existing functionality and make recommendations to increase or improve the usability of our systems and processes.
What projects / work will the candidate be working on now and into the next year?
We are a busy team with many opportunities, the ideal candidate will need to work on BAU incidents and request as well as compliance and upgrades.
