Job Description
Quality Assurance Specialist
Work with IT Quality Assurance leadership to achieve company goals. Author and maintain functional test cases, create and execute test cases, manage defects, and participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) as a member of a Scrum team.
Responsibilities:
• Author and maintain functional test cases
• Create and execute test cases
• Manage defects, including creation, interaction with developers for clarification, and resolution
• Participate in the full SDLC as a member of a Scrum team, attending daily standups and other required meetings
• Collaborate with Systems Analysts and Developers to ensure delivery of high-quality interfaces
• Develop and execute test cases
Requirements:
• 3-6 years of Quality Assurance experience
• Experience with various EDI transactions (835, 837, 834, 820, 276, 277, 270, 271, +++, ++7)
• Experience with EDI translator tools (Edifecs)
• Comfortable with SQL (SQL Server, Oracle, Access)
• Brief data manipulation and creation skills
• Healthcare experience, preferably TPA experience
• Ability to effectively work with internal and external team members
• Excellent communication skills
