This is a remote position.
Execution:
· Responsible to execute transactions end to end including the preparation of Pitches, Information Memorandums and Financial Models
· Doing target and acquirer screening
· Participate in management/buyer meetings, handle Q&As and negotiate offers
· Assistance in drafting and evaluating various legal documents like NDAs, etc.,
· Facilitation of buyer and seller interactions (organizing road shows, conference calls, etc.,)
· Drafting meeting preparatory notes, management questionnaire, etc.,
· Manage the due diligence and transaction documentation process
Origination:
· Take an active part in business development efforts of the team by participating in origination activity and making client pitches
· Carry out extensive industry / company research and target data required for identification and assessment of possible mandates
Requirements
Education: CA – Highly preferred, MBA Finance / CFAs – Open to considering
Experience:
· Analyst/ Sr Analyst - Atleast 1 year of Investment Banking / sell side M&A experience or project manager with banks
· Associate - Min 2-3 years of IB / sell side M&A experience & having closed at-least 1 or 2 deals in the past
· Experience in IT/ ITeS highly preferred but not mandatory
Skills:
• Strong written & oral communication skills
• Strong accounting and financial skills
• Proficient in preparation of Information Memorandums, Pitches and Teasers
• Proficiency in financial modelling & valuation techniques
• Ability to multi-task and execute multiple mandates timely with minimal supervision
• Ability to negotiate offers, deal structures, transaction documents (and key issues) involved in an M&A process
• Team player & ability to work in a globally dispersed team
• Flexibility to travel across APAC, Europe and the US
• Comfortable with Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel
• Conversant with databases like S&P CapIQ
• Passion towards Investment Banking
