Job Title: Analyst-Currency Management
Function Unit: Wholesale Banking Operations
Job Purpose:
To ensure Currency operations at Cash Processing Centers. All the Branch & ATMs to be sufficiently stocked of cash and no instances of cash outs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• To ensure proper upkeep and cleaning of all the areas in the CPC.
• To observe the cash movements from vault to sorting area and vice versa
• To keep optimum level of stationery required in the CPC.
• Ensure tallying of vault at regular intervals during the day for cash removed/deposited in the vault.
• Cash Payments/ Receipts from Vendors like CMS, ATM & CIT.
• To keep the vault, clean of any unwanted papers & documents.
• To ensure all the registers ie Vault related and sorting related are updated on real time basis.
• Updating Bin register and Bin card on real time and ensuring proper sign
• Ensuring constant supply of ATM/Issuable cash.
• Ensure Branch Discrepancies are debited to respective Branch office accounts and reversal.
• Bait money is kept in cash bins inside vault in difference denominations and exchanged periodically.
• To daily check whether cash vans are in line with RBI/MHA guidelines on cash management activities of the bank.
• To monitor the GPRS movement of cash van and regular communication to CIT custodian.
• To ensure cash movements as per CIT route plans and periodic change of route plan from security perspective.
Education Qualification:
Graduation: Bachelor of Commerce (B.com) / Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) / Bachelor of Arts (BA) / Bachelor of Business & Insurance (BBI) / Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS)
Post-Graduation: Master of Business Administration (MBA) / Master of Commerce (M.com) / Master of Arts (MA)
Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in Currency Management
